A little about me:
I moved to Colorado with my family when I was 8 years old - so I'm practically native. And being a practically native Coloradoan, of course I love skiing! Skiing and photography; at least I can make a little money from the photography! I am VERY involved in the Irish Community here in Denver. I split my time between participating in the Denver St. Patrick's Day parade as a parade marshal and the Colorado Irish Festival where I serve as the Hospitality Committee Chair.
"Fasagging"
That was my Grampy's word for photography - and it just stuck with me. It's quite expressive and usually gets funny looks - but I think it's a great word. My Grampy was an accomplished photographer as is my mother - so you can say it runs in my blood.

My mother is an artist in most mediums: painting, drawing, sculpture, etc., while I can't even draw stick figures without screwing up. I had to believe that at least a tiny part of my mother's artist genes existed in me; luckily, they did in the form of photography. About six years ago, I decided I wanted to get back into photography and purchased a Nikon D3200. I wanted to start "small potatoes" and didn't want to commit to anything too expensive...har har! Well, I have since graduated to a Nikon 7200...so I think I'm past the point of "small potatoes".
What's in my camera bag
As mentioned before, I shoot with a Nikon D7200. My favorite lens is my Tamron 18-400mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC HLD. Oh man, do I love this lens! It pretty much does it all! I also have a AF-S DX Micro-NIKKOR 40mm f/2.8G and a AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8G that I like to use for macro. So thank you for visiting my humble little page and feeding this ever growing addiction of mine!
